Treatment of Molluscum contagiosum.
Molluscum contagiosum is a benign and highly contagious viral skin ailment, generally affecting the skin and sometimes the mucosa, and which has been constantly increasing over the past 10 years, particularly in children with atopic skin.
Key Features
- Ideal for: Molluscum contagiosum.
- Texture: 5% potassium hydroxide solution for topical skin application.
- When?: 1 application per day. During 2 to 10 days, until inflammation occurs.
- Result: Medical device for the treatment of Molluscum Contagiosum.
How to Use
- Wipe off any excess solution on the rim of the bottle to avoid dripping onto healthy skin.
- Apply the solution directly onto a mollusc and leave it to dry.
- Dip the brush back into the solution after treating three mollusca.
- Note: Molutrex may cause a tingling sensation that will disappear within a couple of minutes.
- Treat the mollusc once or twice a day, in the morning and evening.
- Repeat the procedure for several days until inflammation (redness) develops, typically within 4–10 days.
- Stop using the product once inflammation has developed.
- Important: The redness indicates the imminent disappearance of Molluscum contagiosum.
